For agents reading Pharo

Pharo publishes approved business knowledge as HTML and machine-readable files. Read a business’s public profile before answering about it; follow its source references and treat an unsupported detail as unknown.

Discover a published profile

A published business has a stable URL shaped like https://api.askpharo.com/b/{slug}. Its release provides manifest.json, agents.json, facts.json, facts.txt, search-index.json and llms.txt under that profile. Only consented active profiles appear in the host sitemap; knowing a slug does not imply that it is published.

Read and ask

The public OpenAPI description documents the HTTP surface. The read-only MCP endpoint exposes get_business, get_page and ask tools. A published profile’s /ask endpoint answers from its sources with citations or returns an explicit unknown outcome. Calls may be rate limited.

Releases and citations

Stable URLs follow the active release. Pinned /r/{release-id}/ URLs preserve historical citation access and are excluded from search indexing. Check the release and cited source before repeating a fact. Agent actions such as booking or changing business data are planned, not part of the read-only tools.

For the separate program that reads business websites, see the ProfileReader crawler and opt-out policy. Learn how a business publishes information.
